Reborn to Master the Blade Season 1 starts off with what seems to be a well-loved king who is on his deathbed. The great king who’s soon to be coming to an end of his life was about to pass away peacefully, until a Goddess came to grant him any wish he pleases due to his achievements as a hero king. Which the dying king further request that he wants to experience a life of mastering the blade as he never once did in his current life as he was a king that was too busy, therefore such request was granted by the Goddess.
