According to Forbes, Netflix added 15.77 million subscribers in the first 3 months of 2020 and 10.9 million between April and June, which is the company’s biggest growth spurt in history as viewers are glued to their homes.
For those of you that are not familiar with Netflix, it is an American streaming service that offers a wide variety of highly-acclaimed tv shows, movies, anime, documentaries and many more that you can watch anytime and anywhere in the comfort of your own phones, tablets, laptops and the like!

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
It is to no one’s surprise that Demon Slayer tops the list right now for the must watch anime on Netflix! The story follows a young teenager named Kamado Tanjiro that sets out on a journey to find a way to help his sister, Nezuko who has become a demon.
Demon Slayer is in its first season with 26 episodes. Earlier this September, Netflix released the movie Demon Slayer: Mugen Train and received a lot of positive feedback. Currently, the season 2 of Demon Slayer is recapping the movie in a total of 7 episodes. The official start of season 2 will be on December 5. This is reported to be 1 hour long, so this is quite the exciting wait.
Jujutsu Kaisen
The highly talked about anime series began its first season in October 2020. This talks about a high school student named Itadori Yuji who deliberately swallows a cursed item, one of Sukuna’s fingers, that led him to be possessed by one of the most powerful demons in Jujutsu Kaisen.
To date, there has been no official announcements on the production of a second season. However this December 24, there will be a movie release in theaters all over Japan of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 which is the prequel of the Jujutsu Kaisen series.
Naruto

This anime series follows Midoriya Izuku, a young man that dreams to become a hero despite not having a “quirk” also known as superpowers. All of a sudden, the greatest hero of all time, All Might appears before him and passes on his quirk “One For All” to Izuku to succeed him because he saw in him an unwavering determination in the face of danger.

Assassination Classroom
Assasination Classroom is an action, comedy and shounen anime that centers around a teacher called Koro sensei, who is an octopus-alien that is a highly intelligent yet dangerous creature. Class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Academy, also known as the “misfits of the school” because of their low grades or breaking school regulations, are tasked with a top-secret mission to assassinate their own teacher in hopes of saving the planet Earth from perishing. The Japanese government promises a reward of 10 billion yen to whoever among the students succeeds in killing Koro sensei.

Kakegurui

The story revolves around a teenager named Jabami Yumeko, who has exceptionally amazing gambling skills she uses to try and beat the student council president of an elite private academy. Violet Evergarden

The Way of the Househusband (Gokushufudou)
